On-Page SEO
Case type pages for car, truck and slip-and-fall cases that each rank on their own.
I’m Toufiq, an independent SEO consultant for US personal injury firms. Personal injury is among the most expensive and most aggressive search markets in the country, crowded with national advertisers, lead sellers and firms with large budgets. Smaller and mid-sized firms win by being specific: deep pages for the case types they want, real local knowledge, credible attorneys and content that stays inside the advertising rules of their state bar.
Each case type needs its own page, depth and evidence.
Personal injury SEO is the work that helps a personal injury law firm appear in Google’s map and organic results when injured people and their families search for a lawyer after an accident, or for answers about their rights, deadlines and what a claim is worth, and then turns those searches into consultations and signed cases. It covers Google Business Profiles for each real office, deep pages for each case type and location the firm genuinely serves, attorney bios with credentials, careful legal guides reviewed by an attorney, content that complies with the state bar’s advertising rules, fast intake, and tracking from the first call to the signed retainer.
National sites publish a thin page for every possible accident in every city. A local firm cannot match their volume, and does not need to. It can publish the best page in its market for the case types it most wants: written with an attorney’s real experience, specific to state law and local roads and courts, and honest about the process. Those pages rank, and they convert better because injured people can tell the difference.
The highest volume. Win with local specifics: dangerous intersections you know, how fault and insurance work in your state, what to do in the first days.
Fewer, often more serious cases. Explain federal trucking rules, evidence preservation and why these cases differ.
Slip and falls, dog bites, negligent security. Each has its own law and its own searches.
Victims often face bias. Content that understands their situation earns trust.
If you take these cases, they need careful, separate content and stricter review.
Families searching at the worst moment. Write gently, clearly and without pressure.
Each state adopts its own rules on lawyer advertising, most based on the ABA Model Rules. California’s Rule 7.1 is a typical example: a lawyer shall not make a false or misleading communication about the lawyer or the lawyer’s services, and its comments treat an express guarantee of results as misleading and caution against presenting past results as if others should expect the same.
Much generic legal marketing ignores this, with phrases like “guaranteed results”, unqualified verdict figures and “specialist” claims that some states restrict. Those pages create risk for the firm and, increasingly, they also read as untrustworthy to the people searching.
I write within these limits and ask a responsible attorney at the firm to approve every page. I am not a lawyer, and final responsibility for compliance stays with the firm.
Map results depend partly on distance, so a firm will not appear in the map pack everywhere. Strong organic pages carry visibility further, as long as they are genuinely useful to people in those places.
Injured people often contact several firms in the same hour. The firm that answers quickly, listens well and explains the next step clearly usually signs the case. In my experience the biggest leak in many firms’ marketing is not the website at all. It is calls that go to voicemail at 6 p.m. and web forms answered the next morning.
Tracking calls and forms by source, measuring answer rates and response times, and connecting leads to signed cases in your case management system shows where the leak is. Fixing intake often produces more signed cases than any new page, and it makes every SEO improvement worth more.
Searches like “how long do I have to file a personal injury claim in [state]”, “should I talk to the other driver’s insurance company” and “what is my case worth” are asked by people who may need a lawyer soon. Guides that answer them accurately for your state, with a named attorney reviewing them and a clear date, are useful, rank well and are the type of content AI search tools tend to cite.
Keep them general and educational, avoid suggesting outcomes, and invite readers to speak with an attorney about their own situation. Legal deadlines and rules change, so review these guides regularly and update them when the law does.
Video and plain-language explanations from the attorneys themselves add credibility. People hiring a personal injury lawyer want to know who they will actually be dealing with, not only the firm’s brand.
Examples only. I build your real map from the case types you want, your offices, your state and your intake data.
A delivery driver is hit at a busy intersection. The other driver’s insurer calls the next day with an offer.
Day 2. He searches “should I accept the first insurance offer after a car accident” and reads a local firm’s guide, reviewed by a named attorney, on how offers work in his state.
Day 2, evening. He searches “car accident lawyer” with his city. The same firm appears in the map results with reviews mentioning communication.
Day 2, 7 pm. He calls. Someone answers, takes the details and books a consultation for the morning.
Day 3. He signs with the firm after the consultation.
Intake and profiles come first, usually in the first month. Case type pages follow over months one to three, then guides and authority over the following months. In major metros, competitive case terms usually take longer, and I tell you that up front.

My approach for personal injury firms is to compete where you can genuinely be the best answer, with depth, local knowledge and attorneys people can trust, rather than trying to outshout national advertisers everywhere.
I am a solo consultant, so you work with me directly. I previously led SEO at a US agency and managed more than twenty webmasters, content managers and copywriters. My wider approach for firms that sell expertise is on the professional services SEO page, and my about page covers my background. I am not a lawyer.
I have not yet published a law firm case study, so there is none here, and I will not present another field’s results as one. Before we talk, I will review your intake path, your profiles and your visibility for the case types you want.
