What I can help with

Ten SEO services.
One plan that ties them together.

Google doesn’t score your website’s technical setup, your writing and your reputation separately, so there is little sense in buying them separately. Tap any service below to see what it covers, explained without the jargon.

01SEO Audit+
A full health check of your website: what Google can and cannot reach, what is missing, and what competitors are doing better. You get a ranked to-do list for the next 90 days rather than a long report nobody reads. See the SEO audit.
03On-Page SEO+
Reworking the pages you already have so each one clearly answers one real question a customer asks — with the right page title, headings and links between pages. See on-page SEO.
05E-commerce SEO+
Making product and category pages easy to find on Shopify, WooCommerce or Magento, and stopping filter links (size, color, price) from creating thousands of near-identical pages that confuse Google. See e-commerce SEO.
07Link Building+
Earning mentions and links from other respected websites. This is still one of the strongest signals Google uses to decide who to trust. Real coverage and relationships, not bought links. See link building.
09AEO & GEO+
Getting your business quoted in AI answers — the summary box at the top of Google, plus ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. A growing share of people never scroll past that box. See AEO and GEO.
02Technical SEO+
The plumbing. Making sure Google can reach every page, that your site loads quickly on a phone, and that broken or duplicate pages are not getting in the way. See technical SEO.
04Local SEO+
Getting your business into the map results when someone nearby searches for what you sell. Covers your Google Business Profile, making sure your name, address and phone number match everywhere online, and a simple routine for collecting reviews. See local SEO.
06SEO Content Strategy+
Deciding what to write, in what order, and why — including updating articles you already published so they start earning visits again instead of sitting there. See content strategy.
08International SEO+
If you sell in more than one country or language, this makes sure the right version of each page shows up in the right market instead of competing against itself. See international SEO.
10White-Label SEO+
Senior SEO strategy and delivery for agencies, under your brand. Your client sees your team; I stay in the background. See white-label SEO.
Why rankings stall

Four reasons a website
stops showing up on Google

Most businesses are stuck for one of these four reasons. None of them get solved by simply publishing more blog posts, which is usually the first thing people try.

Team planning an SEO strategy session around a table
01Google cannot reach your important pages+
If pages are buried too many clicks deep, blocked by a setting, or duplicated hundreds of times, Google gives up before it reaches the pages that make you money. Nothing else you do works until this is sorted out.
02Your page answers the wrong question+
A page written for “accounting software” will not win someone searching for “accounting software for dentists.” That mismatch is the most common reason a well-built site still does not rank, and publishing more posts does not fix it.
03Nobody has vouched for you yet+
Publishing on a schedule does not make Google trust you. Links and mentions from websites that already matter in your industry do — and most SEO plans never set aside any budget for that part.
04You are missing from AI answers+
Google now answers many searches at the top of the page, and tools like ChatGPT do the same. If your pages are not written in a way these systems can quote, you lose the customer before a click ever happens.
How working together works

From first health check to
steady, lasting growth

Four stages. You should see early improvements within the first couple of months, while the slower and more durable work builds underneath.

01

Step one: the health check

I crawl your website the way Google does, read what Google Search Console has actually recorded about your site, and study the competitors already beating you. I do not recommend anything the data does not back up.

You get: a ranked list of opportunities
02

Step two: deciding what comes first

Every problem is scored on how much it is likely to be worth against how hard it is to fix. That becomes a 90-day plan your developer and writers can actually follow, with the reasoning written next to it.

You get: a 90-day plan, in order
03

Step three: fixing and shipping

Foundations first, so early wins help pay for the longer projects. I either do the work myself or brief your team and check what comes back. Either way, the outcome is mine to answer for.

You get: fixes live and measured
04

Step four: measuring and adjusting

Monthly reporting that connects rankings and visits to inquiries and sales, written in language you can take into a meeting. What is working gets more time; what is not gets dropped.

Who you will be working with

You work with me directly,
not an account manager.

I’m MD Toufiq-ur Rahman Kobir. I’ve led SEO inside a fifty-person team at ProDev Consults, managed more than twenty writers and web staff as SEO Manager for JP Marketing in Dallas, and held Top Rated status on Upwork.

That mix matters more than it sounds. Most SEO problems are not really about tactics — they are about deciding what to do first with a limited budget. That is a hard call to make well if you have only ever done one part of the job.

I take on a small number of clients on purpose. It means you can send a question and get an answer from the person actually doing the work, usually the same day.

  • You talk to the person doing the work
  • Reports in plain English, tied to inquiries and sales
  • Built for AI search, not just old-style rankings

Why this approach works

One person accountable
for the whole result.

Everything planned together

One plan instead of three disconnected ones

A brilliant article on a page Google cannot reach earns nothing. The technical work, the writing and the reputation building are planned as one thing, with one person answering for the result.

Senior work, not passed down

The person you hire is the person who does the work

Agencies often win the account with an experienced strategist and then hand it to whoever is free. Here the diagnosis, the plan and the work all come from the same person, which is why the plan still makes sense six months later.

Ready for AI search

Written to be quoted, not just ranked

A growing share of searches are answered by AI before anyone clicks a website. I structure your pages so your business is the one being quoted in those answers rather than skipped over.

Judged on business results

Rankings only matter if they bring customers

Ranking first for a phrase nobody buys from is a nice screenshot and nothing else. I report on the visits that turn into inquiries and sales, and I will tell you honestly if a channel is not worth more of your money.

What good work looks like

Three examples of
problems worth fixing

These are the kinds of problems I get brought in to solve, and what changes once they are fixed. Every business is different, so treat these as examples of the work rather than promises about your results.

What happens after you get in touch

Three steps, and
no pressure at any of them

No sales script and no obligation. Here is exactly what happens once you send a message.

Step 1

A 20-minute conversation

We talk about your business, your customers and what you have already tried. If I am not the right fit, I will say so and point you toward someone who is.

Step 2

I look at your site first

Before we speak I run a quick scan of your website, so the call is about your actual problems rather than general advice you could read anywhere.

Step 3

A written proposal

If it makes sense to work together, you get the scope, the timeline and the price in writing. No lock-in, and no contract you cannot leave.

In a client’s words

What working together
actually feels like

“Toufiq actually understood our industry instead of applying a generic SEO template. Our organic leads grew steadily within a few months, and the reporting finally made sense.”

One real client comment rather than a wall of invented praise. My verified work history is on the about page, and the thinking behind each result is written up in the case studies.

Common questions

Questions people ask before
hiring an SEO consultant

Straight answers to the things that come up most often on a first call, including the ones consultants usually dodge. If your question is not here, just ask it.

01What does an SEO consultant actually do?+
An SEO consultant finds out how your customers search, works out why your website is not showing up for those searches, and fixes it. In practice that means three things: making sure Google can reach and understand your pages, making sure those pages answer the question people actually asked, and building enough reputation online that Google trusts you over a competitor.
02How much does SEO cost for a small business in the US?+
Independent SEO consultants in the US usually charge $75 to $200 an hour, and monthly arrangements commonly run between $1,500 and $7,500 depending on how competitive your market is. A one-off website health check is normally a fixed price. You always get the scope and cost in writing before anything starts.
03How long does SEO take to work?+
Technical fixes can show movement in a few weeks because you are removing an obstacle. Content and reputation take longer: usually three to six months before the direction is clear, and closer to a year before results really build on each other. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is not being straight with you.
04Should I hire an SEO consultant or an agency?+
An agency gives you more people and a process that keeps running when someone is away, which matters at volume. A consultant gives you senior judgment applied directly, with the person who diagnosed the problem also doing the work. For most small and mid-size businesses the bottleneck is knowing what to fix first, not how many hands are available.
05Do you work with businesses across the United States?+
Yes. I work remotely with businesses throughout the US using shared documents and scheduled calls, and I keep hours that overlap with US time zones. Local SEO clients do not need me on site to compete in the map results.
06Can you guarantee I will rank number one on Google?+
No, and you should be careful with anyone who does. Google does not sell or promise positions, and no consultant controls the algorithm. What I can commit to is honest diagnosis, work you can verify, and reporting that shows exactly what changed and what it was worth.
07Do I have to sign a long-term contract?+
No. There is no lock-in. Most projects run three to six months simply because that is how long the work takes to show up, not because a contract forces you to stay. If it is not paying for itself, you should be free to stop.
08What actually happens in the first 30 days?+
A full website health check, a 90-day plan with the most valuable fixes first, and the first round of technical fixes either done or written up for your developer. You will know what is wrong and what it is worth fixing before you spend anything on content or links.
Deep dive

What does an SEO consultant actually do?

An SEO consultant finds out how your customers search, works out why your website is not showing up for those searches, and fixes it. The job usually splits into three parts: making sure Google can reach and understand your pages, making sure those pages actually answer what people asked, and building enough reputation that Google is willing to trust you over a competitor. Most agencies split those three across three teams. I do not, because deciding which one to fix first is where most of the value sits.

What does an SEO consultant cost in the US?

Independent SEO consultants in the US generally charge somewhere between $75 and $200 an hour. Monthly arrangements commonly land between $1,500 and $7,500, depending on how competitive your market is and how much of the work I do rather than your team. A one-off website health check is usually a fixed price. You get the scope, the timeline and the cost in writing before anything starts, and there is no long lock-in contract. If the work is not paying for itself, you should be free to stop.

Should a small business hire a consultant or an agency?

An agency gives you people. Several of them, plus a process that keeps running when someone is on vacation. That genuinely matters once you are publishing at volume.

What you usually give up is closeness. The experienced person who diagnosed your problem during the sales call is rarely the person doing the work three months later, and the plan gets watered down as it moves down the chain. A consultant swaps volume for judgment, applied directly. For most small and mid-size businesses the bottleneck is not how many hands are available — it is knowing which three of the forty possible fixes to do first. That single decision is usually the difference between a year of progress and a year of activity.

How long before SEO starts working?

Honest answer: it depends what is broken. Technical fixes can show movement within a few weeks, because you are removing an obstacle rather than building something new. Content and reputation take longer — usually three to six months before the direction is clear, and closer to a year before the results really compound. Anyone promising you page one in thirty days is either chasing phrases nobody searches for or doing something you will have to undo later. I do not guarantee rankings, because nobody honestly can.

Why AI search changed the job

Google now answers a large share of searches directly at the top of the page, and tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini do the same thing. That has not made SEO pointless, because those systems still read and quote real web pages — the question just moved from “who ranks first” to “who gets quoted.” What gets rewarded now is clear, well-organized pages, correct business information a machine can read, and answers written so they can be lifted out cleanly without losing their meaning. Websites written only for the old blue links tend to get summarised around instead of credited. That layer is part of every project I take on.

Who this works best for

Businesses that already have something people want to buy, and a website that is not doing it justice. Service companies whose customers research carefully before picking up the phone. Online stores with a real product range and a findability problem nobody has named yet. Businesses with several locations competing for the map results. Agencies that need senior SEO work delivered quietly under their own brand.

If you have not launched yet, or you are looking for someone to publish twenty articles a month with no strategy behind them, I am the wrong person and I will tell you that on the call rather than after you have paid.

A sensible place to start

The first conversation is free and takes about twenty minutes. Before it I run a quick scan of your website so we can talk about your real problems instead of general advice. You will come away with a clear idea of what is holding the site back, whether or not you decide to hire me. Book a free call, browse the full list of SEO services, or see the industries I work in most often.
