Local SEO
House, driveway, roof and commercial pages for each area you serve.
I’m Toufiq, an independent SEO consultant. Pressure washing is easy to start and hard to stand out in. Homeowners worry about stripped paint and voided roof warranties, and property managers worry about liability and runoff. I help US exterior cleaning companies win booked jobs from both, by showing the right surfaces, methods and proof to the people already searching nearby.
Pressure washing SEO is how an exterior cleaning company gets chosen online by people who need a driveway, house, roof, deck or commercial property cleaned near them. The core pieces are a Google Business Profile that shows real local work, one page for each surface you clean and the method you use on it, a way for homeowners to see a price and book, commercial pages that answer insurance and wash water questions, and reporting that tracks booked jobs by surface.
It is not: a blog post a week about “the benefits of a clean driveway”, a page for every suburb, or a promise to put you first on Google.
Homeowners search for “pressure washing” whether they mean a driveway or a roof, and that is fine. Your job is to meet them with the right surface and the right method, because the method is often exactly what they are worried about. A homeowner who has read that power washing can strip paint or dislodge shingle granules, as GAF’s technical bulletin on algae staining warns for roofs, wants to see that you know the difference.
Very few people wake up and decide to clean the driveway for its own sake. Something prompts it, and that something usually carries a deadline. Pages that speak to the moment, not just the surface, convert better and give you better words for your Google profile posts.

Commercial page with scheduling and wash water handlingResidential exterior cleaning is one of the easiest services to price online. Square footage of concrete, the size and number of stories of the house and the type of roof are enough for a solid estimate, and many companies already measure properties from aerial imagery inside their quoting tool before anyone visits.
When that price appears on the page, the homeowner can book while they are still annoyed at the driveway. When the page says “call for a free estimate”, they keep scrolling. The same tool is where your average ticket grows: once someone has a driveway in the cart, adding the sidewalk, the patio or a house wash at a bundle price is a small decision for them and a much better trip for you.
For SEO, this matters twice. A pricing page answers the “how much does pressure washing cost” searches directly, and a booking flow that actually converts turns the traffic you earn into jobs instead of bounced visits.
Restaurant owners, retail managers, HOA boards and property managers hire exterior cleaners for recurring work that has to happen without disrupting anyone. What they check is different from what a homeowner checks, and a residential-style page with a coupon does not answer it.
Wash water deserves particular attention. Many local governments publish rules for mobile washers. San Luis Obispo County’s guidance, for example, says never to send wash water into the street or a storm drain and describes blocking drains and recovering water. A commercial page that explains how you handle it, in line with the rules where you work, answers a question careful managers are increasingly asked by their own owners.

Reading across a row shows how one customer moves from curiosity to booking. Reading down a column shows which pages earn calls this week and which build trust for next month. The real grid for your company is filled with the searches people make in your area, and only the services you offer.
That line, on an HOA letter a homeowner opens on a Thursday evening, is a common start. She searches “house washing near me” and opens three sites.
The first shows a pressure washer blasting a deck and a phone number. The second has a long page about the history of the company. The third has a house washing page that explains soft washing in two sentences, shows before-and-after photos from her own suburb, mentions that plants are rinsed before and after, and offers a price for her home size with the next open Saturday.
She books the third. At checkout she adds the driveway, because the bundle price is shown and the HOA letter mentioned it too. One letter, one search, a bigger ticket.
Pressure washing is seasonal in most of the country, so the “Now” column should be finished before spring demand arrives. Everything moves left to right as it is done, and you see the board in every report.

Most of these come from your booking or field service software plus call tracking on the profile and site. I add map visibility around your service area as an early signal. If bookings rise but the bundle rate and average ticket fall, the pages are attracting the wrong jobs, and that is what we fix next.
In a trade where anyone can buy a machine, the companies that last are the ones that can explain what they do and prove it. That is also what good search content looks like, so the two goals line up neatly.
You would be working with me directly; I do not pass clients to a team. My SEO career includes leading a US agency’s SEO work with more than twenty webmasters, content managers and copywriters, a lot of it for local businesses that live or die by the map. If you also clean glass, my page on window cleaning SEO covers that side, and the full story of my background is on the about page.
Exterior cleaning would be a new industry for me. I would rather say that plainly than dress up results from other work, so there is no pressure washing case study here. Before we talk, I will run the searches in the grid above for your area, look at your profile and photos and try to get a price for my imaginary driveway on your site.
