Local SEO
Visibility for buyers and agents searching inspectors in each area.
I’m Toufiq, an independent SEO consultant. A buyer with an accepted offer usually has a short inspection period in the contract. Many will take their agent’s suggestion, but more and more check reviews, compare inspectors and search on their own. I help US home inspectors be easy to find, easy to trust and easy to book in that narrow window.
Home inspector SEO is the work that helps a home inspection business appear when buyers, sellers and real estate agents search for an inspector in its service area, and then book. It covers an accurate Google Business Profile, pages for pre-purchase, pre-listing and new construction inspections and for any add-on services such as radon or sewer scopes, a sample report, clear pricing and licensing details, online booking that works on phones, content that explains the inspection to first-time buyers, and reporting on booked inspections by source.
First-time buyers search this constantly. HUD’s notice to FHA borrowers, form 92564-CN, answers it directly: an appraisal does not replace a home inspection, and FHA does not guarantee the value or condition of the home.
That makes it one of the most useful pages a home inspector can publish. Explain the difference simply, cite the source, describe what your inspection covers and what it does not, and let the buyer book from the same page.
Pages like this also give AI assistants and search engines a clear, citable answer, which is the kind of content that tends to be quoted when buyers ask those questions.
Estimates value for the lender.
Examines the condition of the home for the buyer.
HUD’s form 92564-CN, “For Your Protection: Get a Home Inspection”, makes this distinction for FHA buyers.
Where your state has rules about relationships with agents or referral arrangements, follow them, and keep marketing to agents within those limits.
Only build pages for services you are licensed and qualified to provide in your state, and say so on each page.
The core page: scope, timing, price and booking.
For sellers who want fewer surprises during the sale.
Pre-drywall and final walkthrough inspections.
Where you are qualified to test, with how long it takes.
Common for older homes with mature trees.
Often required by lenders, and often separately licensed.
Examples only, with who usually searches them. I build the real map from your area, your services and the questions your clients ask.
A first-time buyer’s offer is accepted. Her agent sends three names. She searches each one and also “home inspector” plus her new town.
One inspector shows a price, a sample report, licensing, add-ons and open slots. She books online for Day 4 with a radon test.
Inspection, then a readable report with photos the next day. She negotiates a repair credit before her deadline.
Sections 1.0 and 2.0 come first, usually in the first month, because a buyer on a deadline needs to find you and book you. The rest builds over the following months.

How quickly buyers can get on your calendar.
Most of my work for home inspectors is about removing friction: being findable by name and by service, answering the buyer’s questions before they call, and letting them book in minutes.
I am a solo consultant, so you work with me directly. I previously led SEO at a US agency and managed more than twenty webmasters, content managers and copywriters, much of it for local service businesses. Because so much of your work comes through the property market, my real estate SEO page is useful background, and my about page covers my experience.
I have not yet worked with a home inspection company as a client, so there is no case study here, and I will not present another field’s results as one. Before we talk, I will search your area as a first-time buyer with a deadline and show you who they find.
