A local SEO audit that tells you exactly why competitors get the call.
If you are not sure why you are missing from the map results, this is the place to start. I review your Business Profile, map rankings across your area, reviews, listings and local pages against the businesses that win, then hand you a short, prioritized plan you can act on with or without me.
Why most local businesses guess instead of knowing
Owners usually know something is wrong: calls are down, a newer competitor appears everywhere, or the profile only shows for the business name. What they lack is a clear answer to why, and which fix comes first.
One ranking screenshot is all you have
You searched from your office and saw yourself third. Your customers, two miles away, see a different result. Map rankings change with every location, so a single check tells you very little.
VisibilityAutomated reports list everything equally
A free tool flagged 140 issues, most of them minor. The two that actually matter are buried on page six, so nothing gets fixed.
PrioritiesYou do not know what the winners do differently
The businesses above you have something you do not. It might be the category, reviews, location pages or links. Without a side-by-side comparison, every fix is a guess.
CompetitionPast work did not move anything
You paid for directory submissions or a monthly package, but calls did not change. Before spending again, you need to know what was missing.
Wasted spendMany local problems, such as a wrong category, missing services or an unlinked profile, cost almost nothing to fix once someone points them out.
Building links or content will not help if the profile is miscategorized or suspended-risk. An audit puts the work in the right order.
You can implement it yourself, hand it to your team or hire me. Either way, you are not locked into a package to find out what is wrong.

Clear next stepsA prioritized local audit versus an automated report
Automated local SEO tools are useful for data collection. They are not good at deciding what matters for your business. Here is the difference.
| Aspect | Automated tool report | My local SEO audit |
|---|---|---|
| Rankings | One location or a generic score | A grid across the area your customers are actually in |
| Competitors | Rarely compared | Side by side with the businesses winning your searches |
| Findings | Long list, all treated equally | Ranked by impact and effort, with the first five fixes clear |
| Category advice | Not covered | Based on the categories your winning competitors use |
| Reviews | Count and rating only | Volume, recency, replies and whether your process follows the rules |
| Explanation | Jargon and scores | Plain language, with a walkthrough call |
| What happens next | Upsell to a package | Implement it yourself, with your team or with me |

A closer look at the local SEO audit
Local search works differently from the rest of SEO. Google weighs relevance, distance and prominence, and the Business Profile carries as much weight as the website. A useful local audit reflects that, and spends its time where local rankings are actually decided.
Why rankings must be measured across your area
A map result depends on where the searcher is. You can rank first at your front door and not appear at all three miles away. Measuring rankings on a grid across your service area shows the real picture: which neighborhoods you win, where you fade and how far your visibility reaches compared with competitors.
Comparing against the businesses that win
The most useful question in a local audit is simple: what do the top three have that you do not? Comparing categories, services, review volume and recency, photos, local pages and listings side by side turns a vague problem into a short list of specific gaps.
Prioritization is the point
Any tool can list problems. The value of an audit is deciding which few problems explain most of the gap, and putting them in the right order. A wrong primary category matters more than fifty minor citation differences, and the plan should say so plainly.
What happens after the audit
Some clients implement everything themselves using the plan. Others ask me to handle the profile through Google Business Profile optimization or move to ongoing local SEO. Any of those is a good outcome, as long as the work follows the evidence.
